Founded in 1967, FORGINAL industrie takes its current form from the grouping of several forges. It was Mr. Gérard TERME who bought the company in 1986. Today, FORGINAL industrie is managed by the second generation of the family, with the clear desire to maintain its independence in the long term.
When the grouping took place, each of the forges had its own area of specialization in the manufacture of metal parts: aeronautics, industrial and hydraulic fittings, defense parts, safety parts, etc.
Until today, FORGINAL industrie has maintained this diversity in terms of market sectors, and has also positioned itself as a key player, particularly in the stainless steel forged parts market. As a specialist in stainless steel, FORGINAL industrie has a perfect command of all the constraints of forging materials known to be “difficult” such as Monel, Duplex, Hastelloy or titanium.

Manufacturing of custom metal parts
FORGINAL industrie is a concentrate of know-how and skills in forging – an increasingly specialized profession.
At the time of the creation of FORGINAL industrie, the production of large series of forged parts was massively outsourced to low-cost countries. It therefore became necessary to reorient the company’s strategy and position itself as a player in forged parts with high added value.
This is how FORGINAL industrie became a precision blacksmith. The change in strategy was facilitated by the great expertise and performance of its teams in place.
The decision was made to target the manufacture of high-precision parts as a priority. Investment in the production tool and in R&D in order to obtain the tightest tolerances on the market allowed us to make this turnaround possible. The internal organization was modified in order to be best suited to the production of small and medium series, on niche products.
At FORGINAL industrie, all production of metal parts is made “to measure”. We do not offer a “standard” model; we design a set of tools exclusively dedicated to each customer, combining our know-how with the customer’s technical requirements. This tooling can evolve over time according to your needs, in a context of total confidentiality.

An organization designed for small and medium series
At FORGINAL industrie, everything is designed to offer maximum flexibility to our customers. The design, manufacturing, control and maintenance of tools is carried out in-house, which allows us to be at the heart of your project and to manage the logistics flow as closely as possible. In addition, our production resources (including manual drop hammers) are suitable for small series launch campaigns.
A safe bet
The average turnover of FORGINAL industrie amounts to approximately €16 million per year, with a highly diversified client portfolio, half of which is on international markets, which allows it to cover its market risk.
The company has significant equity and has invested 5% of its turnover each year in renewing its production resources for over 20 years.
The production site occupies a total surface area of 29,000 m² and is wholly owned by FORGINAL industrie shareholders.
